Pre-vetted before arrival
Age and identity are settled when they sign up or buy the ticket, not when the crowd turns up.
Protect Events
VenueGo provides Protect Events. Guests prove their age and identity when they sign up or buy a ticket. You already know who is coming, and your team manages the review pipeline.

How it works
01
Your site or ticketing system opens a check with the minimum age for that event, at the moment they join or buy.
02
The link sits in the signup or the ticket email. They finish it at home, before they travel.
03
A short guided face capture, a passport or driving licence, then a photo of them holding it. A licence includes the back.
04
Approved, declined, or waiting in the review pipeline you manage. The result is on the record before they arrive.
Why events use it
Age and identity are settled when they sign up or buy the ticket, not when the crowd turns up.
Set 16, 18 or whatever the event requires. The same rule runs on every signup.
Clear results land on their own. Flagged documents wait for your team, instead of an automatic no.
The guest flow carries your event name, colours and wording.
Webhooks carry the outcome back to signup, membership or ticketing.
Checks run in the UK. ID images are removed after 30 days, unless a review is still open.
Compliance
What was checked, who was approved before they travelled, and the review pipeline your team manages.
UK licensing
How a check at signup or ticket purchase supports the protection of children from harm, and an age policy you can describe.

Protect Events is VenueGo's age and identity check for events. Guests finish it on their phone when they sign up or buy a ticket, so they are pre-vetted before they arrive. Your team manages the review pipeline.
A passport or driving licence issued in the United Kingdom, Ireland or the United States. A licence is photographed on both sides. The guest also holds the document beside their face.
No. Protect Events reads the document in the camera, checks the face capture against it, and compares the date of birth with the minimum age for that event. It is a document and face check, not a government database search.
When they join your site or buy the ticket, not when they are standing outside. The flow takes about two minutes: a guided face capture, then the document, then a photo holding it. A session stays open for 24 hours and allows three attempts.
You do. Clear results are approved or declined on the rules you set. Anything that looks wrong waits in the review pipeline, and your team decides. ID images are deleted after 30 days, unless that check is still in your pipeline.
